Hosting eight guests across its four-bedrooms, architects have increased the height of Villa Monina in its construction, further contributing to vistas which add a touch of beauty to your stay. The villas ambience is cosy and bright indoors, helping you to feel at home and quickly get comfortable with guests. Outdoors, guests can take advantage of the beautiful climate on the patio or terraces.

The living area is where it will be happening on your stay in this lovely home. Just like the rest of the house, the lounge area oozes character with its tasteful furnishings and you will be enticed to gather on the sofas, using the table to secure your snacks and drinks whilst you watch the television here. Leave the patio doors open to allow sunlight and a gentle breeze in, on hot days and nights. A dining table in this room gives guests the option to feast together.

The kitchen is fully-equipped, providing everything you will need to keep hunger and thirst at bay during your stay. Try your hand at a variety of dishes to serve to the travelling troupe and doors to the patio mean you can quickly serve food and refreshments outside.

Guests sleeping in the only bedroom on this floor can use the bathroom here and have twin single beds to choose from and direct access to the garden. Upstairs, another bedroom offers a further two single beds and access to a bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms on this floor offer queen-sized beds for rest, access to individual bathrooms and a balcony terrace, where you can take in your surroundings.

Outdoors, bask in the sun on loungers on the patio, whilst you wait for food to be served on the outdoor dining table. The table offers a parasol to keep you shaded but a fun way to truly cool off is to get into the private pool! On the first floor balcony, guests have access to the rooftop terrace, where sweeping views of the coast and sea in the distance, make for an excellent place to unwind on an evening.

Villa Monina sits in the quaint village of Santa Barbara de Nexe. Whilst in the villa you have peace and privacy and the town offers a pleasant change of pace, humbly carrying on a tradition of stonework that has been practised here from days of old. Feel the air of enchantment ever-present as the sounds of accordions waft through the air.

From the villa drive down to Faro, just fifteen-minutes away and enjoy a more built-up town with things to do. Head to the plaza and shop or dine on delicious dishes and the regions speciality cuisine, seafood at pleasantly reasonable prices. Don't leave without trying Cataplana de Marisco or for the meat lovers, any of the famous Portuguese sandwiches! Walk off your filling meals with a visit to Faro's the Cidade Velha where walls, roads and buildings constructed centuries ago will take you back into time.

Heading eastwards you will get two places to enjoy in one. Ria Formosa sits next to the ocean and offers glimpses at lagoons, sand-banks and unique wildlife, with many migratory birds often observed here. Across a bridge, guests can kick back on the huge stretch of sand on the beautiful Faro Beach, watching the sunset as you slowly sip cocktails together!
