Do not miss to visit the Abbey of Pomposa, the antique town of Ravenna (35 km) which still conserves extraordinary early Christian monuments and Byzantine mosaics, Ferrara (60 km) offering a historical center dating back to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and, last not least the wonderful city of art of Venice which surely belongs to the most beautiful towns all over the world. In an 80-100 km distance you will find several amusement and aqua parks where not only your kids will have fun. The cuisine of Emilia-Romagna is one of the most creative and tasty cuisines of Italy. The authentic flavours of the gastronomic specialities, ranging from rustic to seafood dishes, vary depending on the place. The dishes and local ingredients, together with ancient traditions, bring to the table the well known "Tortellino, Piadina, Tagliatelle, Parma ham, balsamic vinegar and Parmigiano Reggiano", as well as the famous Eel of Comacchio.
