This holiday home was obtained from the restoration of an ancient convent, which was built on the ruins of an Etruscan site (Etruscan temple of 800 b.C.). It is surrounded by a forest and olive grove and located on a hill at 1 km from Rapolano Terme (modern thermal spas). Enjoy the quiet location with unique panoramic views of the typical Crete Senesi area! In the distance you can also sight the beautiful city of Siena (20 km), which is reached in about 20 minutes by car. The property is surrounded by approx. 25 ha of private land with olive trees and tall trees. The renovation was carried out with particular attention to details, such as the use of travertine (a typical marble from Rapolano), wooden beams and travertine floors (marble from Siena). The house is furnished with antiques and equipped with modern and functional accessories. The large swimming pool, which is for the exclusive use of the guests, was designed with a particular architectural style and is furnished with sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs, ideal for enjoying outdoor dining. The owner occasionally lives in an apartment located on the first floor of the villa and provides the clients with the information they may need. On request it is possible to organize an extra domestic help (to be paid on site). A weekly bed linen change and a weekly cleaning are included in the price.
