Description

With the rustic villa "Can Xesc", we can offer you a pretty little house in an exceptionally beautiful location facing fabulous mountain scenery. The rustic villa is located in an unspoilt location in the urbanisation "Cala Tuent" and is just a maximum 10 minutes' distance from the eponymous bay on foot. Only a few houses stand on the sides of the steep mountain slopes that lead all the way down to the bay. One of these is the little villa "Can Xesc". The urbanisation is surrounded by a pine forest and holm oak trees. Due to the lush fauna and flora, this area in the middle of the Tramuntana mountains is truly one-of-a-kind. You can reach the settlement situated by the foothills of the Puig Major (the highest of the Tramuntana moutains at 1,445 m) via the country road MA-10 between Sóller and Lluc. If you take the serpentine road MA-2141 between these two towns towards Sa Calobra, you will reach the exit for Cala Tuent after an incredibly beautiful 11 km drive through the mountain scenery - the villa is therefore located far from mass tourism in the mountains, while still being near absolutely fantastic beaches, and is thereby an ideal starting point for extended hiking tours or excursions to surrounding natural beauty spots. A trip to Sa Calobra and the bay of the same name is something you surely do not want to miss.

We recommend you visit the Torrent de Pareis- bizarre, jagged rock formations. The Torrent de Pareis can also be reached from Sa Calobra via a 600-metre-long hiking path. The bays of Sa Calobra and Cala Tuent can be accessed from Sóller by boat, so you can plan an excursion to the popular city of Sóller and the bay of Port de Sóller either via the sea or on land. In Sóller, you can enjoy the liveliness of the Placa Constitucio, with this lively atmosphere also being present in the local bars and restaurants. In the northern part of the Cala Tuent, there is a small restaurant. Shopping can be done in the town itself, where gastronomical establishments can also be found. Additional natural landmarks like the spectacular caves "Cova de sa Campana" or "Cova de ses Bruixes" offer underground rock formations.

Located in the urbanisation, the villa is appealing due to its cosiness. In the outdoor area, you will find a covered terrace with dining area in front of the house. This is connected to a courtyard that is paved with natural stone and has 2 seating areas including a laid-back porch swing. You can look out over the small but excellent pool, whose bordering sun terrace provides sufficient loungers for all guests. While lounging or swimming here, you have the pleasure of enjoying the view of the surrounding wooded foothills of the Tramuntana mountains that protectively encompass the urbanisation. Throughout the day, the rocks slightly change their appearance with the sunlight, and as you let your gaze calmly drift, your view is absolutely clear and exceptionally spectacular.

In the villa's interior, a large, open living/dining and kitchen area awaits us. The brick-built kitchenette, with a soft cream-caramel-coloured, ceramic tiled wall mirror, is fully equipped with a microwave, stove with ceramic hobs, dishwasher, and much more. In front of the kitchenette stands the white dining table with 4 black chairs. This functional area is openly connected to the living room, complete with one sofa and 2 armchairs by the fireplace. On the whitewashed, country house-style sideboard, there stands a modern LCD-TV. Both of the bedrooms, which are particularly cosy due to the exposed ceiling beams, are equipped with a double bed or two single beds. The white tiled bathroom is strikingly furnished with a semi-circular corner shower that can also be used as a bathtub. In this way, the owners have managed to create an ideal, incredibly wonderfully located living space using only limited floor space, in which a family with 2 children or 4 friends who want to spend a hiking holiday together are in good hands. However you want to spend your individually-planned Mallorca holiday, away from mass tourism and in the middle of the overwhelmingly beautiful mountainous nature - the sky is the limit in this truly rustic villa "Can Xesc", and you can design your own diversions depending on the mood of the day. The team at Fincallorca wishes you a relaxing stay.
