Description

This 14,000 m² estate has an air of Ibizan hippie-style, especially the vibrant white building including its annex with lively and colourful window shutters. It's not just pretty to look at; it also houses a quaint covered terrace with terrific panorama views. From here, it's not far to the cooling waters – simply hop over a little gravel – nor far to the terrace right next to the house – just five steps with a whiff of a lavender bed on the way. This terrace offers, besides a bench, dining table and chairs and a little barbecue outhouse, above all incredible panorama views over the lovely landscape in the east of the island. Coming back to the pool for a second, the pleasant graded flooring between 1 m and 1.70 m, as well as the conveniently wide entrance steps, means it's a real hit with the kids and the grown-ups on a hot summer's day, whether you want to dive in or relax in there with a cold drink. The stampede for the swing chair will be especially large on these hotter days – though the sun-loungers and little seating area are great alternatives and might well also become your favourite little spot. The secluded location and spacious estate really mean you can enjoy your privacy – perhaps that's exactly what you need?

An invitation to relax is exactly what you'll find on the inside of this 90 m² little house. The beautifully bright living room is just a step away from the terrace, featuring the basics for kicking back in the form of a large sofa and satellite TV. This area, including a quaint dining table, transitions seamlessly into the kitchen, which is modern and fully-equipped, but with a touch of charming nostalgia thanks to the open fireplace. Whoever is on the washing up will be rewarded with a great view of the surrounding nature! Two cozy bedrooms with double beds continue the style from the living room, though with little accents provided by carefully chosen and sparingly, though cleverly, used décor. In the daylight bathroom, with white tiling and a spacious walk-in shower featuring pebblestone flooring, you can check on the daily progress of your holiday tan in the wide mirror.

The east of Mallorca has a reputation for being a tranquil stretch of land, where, despite the proximity to the coast, you can still discover many traditional little towns. We recommend you visit the cafés on the pretty squares near the church buildings, which are also frequented by locals, and soak up the authentic atmosphere. Porto Cristo offers plenty of character with its harbour, old town, sandy beach and promenade, only around 20 minutes' drive away. Manacor is perfect for being one or two souvenirs, whilst friendly bodegas and the futuristic Rafa Nadal Sports Museum are great ways to spend your time. Those inclined toward wildlife and nature should cycle or hike along the Via Verde, a disused railway line. Another suggestion for beach fans is Cala Bona (16 km), which has two smaller bays and a beautiful fishing harbour.
