For art and culture enthusiasts, the Tuscan cities of art are easily to be reached: Pisa with its leaning tower and the splendid Piazza dei Miracoli 20 km; Lucca with its ancient walls 55 km, Firenze, main city in Tuscany, with Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Art Gallery, the fashion shops and the typical local dishes 60 km. If you desire spending a day at the seaside, we recommend the Etruscan coast (Southern of Livorno) or the sandy beaches around Cecina: both can be reached in one hour driving. Elba Island, where Napoleon lived during his exile is also reachable by ferry! Two big dogs within the property, close to the house.
