The nearest town is Acqui terme at 11 km where there is the famous "bollente", which looks like a low octagonal temple with a source of saline-bromo-iodic water at its center flowing at a temperature of 74 ° C. In Asti (31 km), famous for the Palio, you can stroll through the streets of the charming old town and visit the Cathedral of Maria Assunta or the Baptistery of San Pietro. The splendid city of Turin with its museums is 91 km from here. The rice fields of Vercellese with their suggestive panorma are at about 85 km. In the period between September and October the wineries offer themed weekends with the possibility to spend days in the vineyards and enjoy in the evening an excellent dinner with the wines and the culinary specialties of the area.
