One hundred years ago Mrs Celia and her husband built the house that has now been converted into two ‘Emblematic cottage in Hoya de Tunte". A few years later they bought another house nearby, which they used as a granary and now is the Emblematic cottage in Hoya de Tunte I.
In 2012 the Emblematics cottages in Hoya de Tunte were restored and converted into holiday cottages, receiving the ‘Emblematic Cottage’ (Casa Emblemática) classification.
The cottages are near the typical Canarian village San Bartolomé de Tirajana, far away from hectic city life and surrounded by countryside. This magical spot is perfect for relaxing and finding peace and quiet, contemplating the beauty and harmony of the natural landscape, where the wild flora flourishes among plantations of olive, apricot and almond trees. Visitors will find the locals who live in this wonderful landscape kind and friendly.
The cottages have been restored conserving the building’s original character and materials, some of which (old doors, windows, etc.) have been recycled, albeit maintaining all the comforts our modern lifestyle requires.
The Emblematic Cottages ‘Hoya de Tunte I, II and III’ are in mint condition and fully equipped. The owner has decorated them with the utmost care and style.
Emblematic cottage in Hoya de Tunte I is the largest of the three cottages and the only one with a swimming pool; it also has two bedrooms and a spacious terrace.
