This independent holiday house with large fenced garden is surrounded by olive trees and located 2.5 km from Castro, a medieval fishing village, rich in history and with Messapian walls and a charming panoramic views. A large outdoor veranda is equipped with barbecue, here you can spend unforgettable evenings together with your family or friends. Inside there is a large living area with characteristic star vaults, typical of the ancient Salento houses. In the basement floor there is an interesting studio with kitchenette and private bathroom. Don't miss the beautiful Zinzulusa cave and other caves such as the Grotta Azzurra or the Grotta Palombara, all of which can be visited with boat trips. The location is convenient for visiting the tourist cities of the Lower Salento from Otranto (25 km) to Gallipoli (40 km) and the city of Lecce (45 km) with its Baroque art and its churches and cathedral. At only 25 km you can visit Santa Maria di Leuca, the extreme tip of Italy, where you can see the meeting of the Adriatic Sea with the Ionian Sea. In the whole neighborhood of the accommodation you can enjoy during the warm summer evenings one of the many festivals taking place in the historical centers of the surrounding area where you can appreciate the typical cuisine accompanied by dances and popular songs such as the famous pizzica salentina.
