Up to eight guests can enjoy a relaxing stay at Casa Chicharron, just a short drive from the international airport at nearby La Romana. You will have a spacious outdoor area centred on a magnificent private pool and, just next to it, an inviting hot tub. Surrounding the pool, there are sun loungers, seating and a dining area with a barbecue grill.

You can walk directly from the terrace into the living area of the house, where you have plenty of comfy sofas and armchairs, a flat screen television and elegant dining spaces. It's all kept cool by a ceiling fan and benefits from free Wi-Fi access. A housekeeper and cook are on hand to make your stay even more comfortable, so you may never need to use the well-appointed kitchen with its large oven, fridge freezer and breakfast bar.

Four bedrooms include a master with king-size bed, and three more rooms with queen-size beds. Each has its own en-suite bathroom, television and air-conditioning. All of the accommodation is on one level, allowing easy access around the property.

Casa Chicharron is particularly conveniently located for the resort's private beach, where you will find a beach club, and it's also very close to the beautiful village of Altos de Chavon, definitely a must-see when you visit Casa de Campo. #### Location
There's a lot to look forward to at the Casa de Campo resort. You will find all kinds of sports facilities, including three golf courses, tennis courts, a shooting range, equestrian centre and a soccer school. Water-sports lovers can choose from snorkelling, kayaking, deep-sea fishing or perhaps scuba-diving to see the coral reefs off the nearby islands.

There is also a spa and a fitness centre, and an upmarket marina with a multiscreen cinema. Add in a nightclub, designer shopping and an array of excellent restaurants with everything from pizza to sushi, and you have no shortage of entertainment. The resort's beach club, found on the private Minitas Beach, is another great hangout, and one with amazing views of the Caribbean Sea.

Casa de Campo is just outside the city of La Romana, making it easy to reach from the city's international airport. The village of Altos de Chavon – a modern-day recreation of a 16th-century village – is another local highlight. Resort guests can visit this riverside gem for free, and see the magnificent 5,000-capacity amphitheatre in all its glory. It's well worth checking who will be playing there in advance – the acts are generally big names. A cultural centre with a community of artists and craftspeople showcasing their work adds to the village's creative vibe.
