Description

Part of a semi-detached house in a historic building that belonged to the House of Savoy in Belvedere Langhe, a small village on a hill in a panoramic position. The house at guests’ disposal is on the first floor (no lift) and is composed of a living area with dining room and kitchen and 2 sleeping areas connected through an internal passage. Each sleeping area is composed of a small kitchenette, a passage twin bedded room and large double bedrooms with wonderful view on the Langhe. To reach the sleeping area there is a short external passage. The valuable furniture and the beautiful common areas such as the Sala dei Diamanti, the Sala Concordia and a rich library preserve the charm and beauty of the past. Inviting outdoor spaces provide relaxing areas and in a tavern with wood-burning oven and grill, guests are offered a course for baking pizza and for cooking the typical Piedmontese food. The owner, an opera singer, organizes singing and meditation classes in the common areas. Nature and history lovers will find nearby the Route of Napoleon, emotions and flavours lovers can discover the Romantic Road of the Langhe and Roero, with a hundred-kilometer route of roads and paths, in a charming landscape comprising the steep contours of the Rocche Roero, mysterious and full of charm, the gentle hills of the Langhe of Barolo and Barbaresco with vineyards, and the quiet and wild hills of the Alta Langa with its lush forests. On every hill, an isolated castle, testifies the feudal past of this country, and around every corner, the open door of a tavern or wine cellar reminds of the reception spirit of an entire country.
