The villa "Desol" is a holiday home second to none. In a beautiful location, less than five kilometres from Artà, it is surrounded by magic that becomes tangible when you first enter the estate. It is the loving details and the sense of stylish compositions that make up the special aesthetics, which already look very inviting at first glance. The villa was completely refurbished and renovated in 2011. Fortunately, the old olive and algarroba trees were kept in the new design of the garden and the campos. This results in a very successful contrast to the house's modern appearance. In 2013, an own licenced well was added. The plants and the lawn are supplied with automatic irrigation. Pretty pebble, grass, and terrace surfaces characterise the terrain. In its centre lies the pretty saltwater pool, which is decoratively tiled and accessible via stairs. On the comfortable available loungers, you can relax in the sun as you please and lavishly enjoy the wonderful holiday time. A total of three parasols are ready to protect you from excessive UV rays. Two terrace areas by the house, one of them covered, also welcome you to spend time there. Laid-back polyrattan lounge furniture is available, as well as a dining table for eating meals together. Breakfast is without a doubt as much of a delight here as a culinary meal in the evening. The grill is also certain to tempt you to a hearty barbecue.

Upon entering the house from the covered terrace, you end up in the open living/dining room, which radiates encompassing cosiness and displays an exceptionally stylish and harmonious decor. Chic exposed-beam ceilings perfectly harmonise with the floor tiles and soft wall colours here. In the couch corner, you can get totally comfortable on the sofa and armchairs with pretty wickerwork and relax with a tasty drink, a good book, or an entertaining film since the TV is installed here. On cool days, you may want to improve the atmosphere even more with a cosy fire. The inviting dining table on the other side of the room, which is designed with white furniture, is excellent for dining together indoors while gazing outside. From here, you can reach the bright and modern kitchen through a wide, round arched passageway, fully equipped with all utensils necessary for everyday use. A Senseo as well as a filter coffee machine and a kettle are also part of the equipment. As a small service, and to spare you major grocery shopping right after your arrival, cleaning agents, dishwashing detergent, liquid handsoap, dishwashing tabs, tea lights, napkins, etc. are provided. Discreetly furnished and decorated bedrooms form the basis for an all-around restorative night's sleep. Soft colour tones and lighting elements conjure up a very charming atmosphere here at any time of day. A total of four beds measuring 0.9 x 1.9 m are available, each can be combined into a couple's bed. The daylight-flooded bathroom boasts a modern design and high-quality fittings. An iron and hair dryer are conveniently provided in the house and do not need to be added to your luggage.

If you are looking for an aesthetic villa in a rural idyll and at the same time close to beautiful natural sand beaches, this house is warmly recommended to you. Livelier tourist towns can be reached in no time, like Cala Ratjada (13 km) with its many bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. After a satisfying excursion, you will always be happy to return to your own villa, to swim a few lanes or simply let the day finish on the terrace as you wish.
