Description

Like something out of a picture book, "Sa Font Authentic" rises up above the plain in the triangle between Ariany, Petra, and Sineu. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape – your holiday begins the moment you arrive and get your first glimpse of this fantastic natural scenery that surrounds you. The estate is magnificently spacious, but at the same time offers idyllic areas right by the house that just radiate a feeling of comfort, meaning that all those who like a lot of space around them will be just as satisfied as those who love a cosy nest atmosphere. The 10-metre-long infinity pool is the biggest attraction in the outdoor area. Built in 2017, it's decorated with blue mosaic stones and has a stepped entry and a deep end. Whilst you're gliding effortlessly across the pool, you'll also have the pleasure of a breathtaking view, which certainly isn't something you normally get when swimming. Similar panoramic experiences can be enjoyed from the outdoor shower and on the terraces areas found on both floors. Whether you enjoy the view from a lounger or the dining table, directly under the Mallorcan sun or under an awning – you decide!

And inside as well, there's plenty of room to breathe. Even if you're traveling with six people and also two babies, there's enough space for everyone to spread out on the lower storey you'll be staying in, which is something you don't want to do without, especially on holiday. The airy indoor charm of the place is characterised by light-coloured walls, terracotta floor tiles, and consciously restrained furnishings and décor. The living room and dining room are connected by an impressive archway, and the fully-equipped kitchen with some exposed brick elements creates a pleasantly cool atmosphere, which finds its concrete expression in the luxurious refrigerator/freezer. The wood-burning stove alongside some lovely plaid-upholstered chairs offers another very well executed contrast. With such peace and tranquillity all around you, you will have a wonderful night's sleep in the two bedrooms with double beds as well as the one with two single beds. Ample space for showers etc. can be found in the two available naturally lit bathrooms, one of which is conveniently situated in the annexe by the pool, where you can also find a second large dining area, so that if the weather is nice you can enjoy feasting both indoors and outdoors.

Those holidaying here enjoy an excellent connection to the beautiful little Mallorcan town of Petra, while at the same time, the house is surrounded by the tranquillity of the countryside. This part of the island is still pretty quiet, with some villa tourism and weekly markets. For longer strolls through town you can head to Manacor, some 15 km away. The historic town centre with its many small streets is a great place to go shopping, or just to linger for a while. The small municipality of Sant Joan is less than 10km away and is home to the large old church Sant Joan Baptista, which features a magnificent interior. Several sandy beaches can also be quickly reached: In about 25 minutes to the northeast you will find the broad and undeveloped natural beach of Son Serra de Marina, and towards the east and southeast there are several beautiful little coves, known as the Calas de Mallorca.
