Description

If you are looking for tranquillity and privacy alongside a well-maintained environment, then the villa "Can Nofre" is just the right property for you. Even the last metres of the little driveway will convey the impression of a welcoming idyll upon you. The secluded area, surrounded by Mediterranean trees, has a wide variety of areas, plains and interesting focal points, and offers all sorts of possibilities for an all-round comfortable time spent outdoors. Extensive courtyards and terraced areas characterise the site, which has been lovingly decorated with little walls, steps, vegetation and even a fountain. All these individual elements combine to make this property pleasantly homely and atmospheric. The whole 10 m long private pool which is just steps from the house and surrounded by a spacious terrace can be comfortably accessed via a wide set of steps. Here you can refresh yourself with a cooling dip on warm days. Reclining on one of the sun loungers, you are more than welcome to just relax and chill, seeking out your very own favourite spot and then from there just letting the everyday drift slowly away. Should the UV-rays get too strong, you can simply shield yourself under either one of the two straw parasols or under the Pacific-style palm leaf roof. The elevated veranda by the house also invites you to settle down in the breezy shade and have a meal at the table whilst being accompanied by simply magnificent views. Here, you can start your morning with a pleasant view of the garden and across its borders into the surrounding landscape. In the evening you can all sit together by a delightful culinary BBQ, feasting on Mediterranean delicacies and seeing out another fulfilling day in style. In the vicinity of the villa there is a small street, which is hardly frequented and will not disturb you.

A large combined living / dining room welcomes guests into the villa. Here you can find moderately used classic decorations, elegant furniture and fabrics. The wooden frame windows, the exposed beams on the ceiling and the terracotta-coloured floor tiles complement this space and help it become a coherent whole. The quaint sofa corner invites you to spend a good many hours relaxing there, perhaps under the spell of a good book. A mouth-watering drink can be enjoyed here as well, or an entertaining TV film, which can be viewed on the large flat screen TV with satellite connection. The modern dining table accentuates the cosy space and offers an attractive opportunity for perhaps organising an indoor dinner. From this room you also have convenient direct access to the pool area. The very generously-sized kitchen, which is also the foremost foyer, is equipped with a further place to eat and is also fully furnished. In addition to an oven, stove, microwave, large refrigerator and dishwasher, the kitchen also has a kettle and a filter coffee machine. In the three bedrooms (one of which is fitted with an en-suite) the comfy atmosphere continues. Prominently-coloured fabrics harmonise here with both the furniture and the other decorative adornments. With regards to the beds available, there is one bed measuring 1.50 x 2.00 m, two measuring 1.00 x 2.00 m as well as another two with the dimensions 0.90 x 1.90 m. The bathrooms are not only functional, but also modern in design. Your hairdryer and iron can be left at home, as both are provided in the house and can of course be used by guests.

Ariany is a beautiful little town, whose surrounding countryside is characterised by seven windmills. The central location on the eastern part of the island, however, makes the larger towns effortlessly accessible. The nearby town of Petra, with its unique quarry stone houses, reminds one of a sleepy little town, far from the hustle and bustle. The farmers' market, the inviting bars, cafes and restaurants in this quiet, yet well-developed city are certainly worth a visit and should not be missed. The beautiful natural beach of Son Serra de Marina can be easily reached from the villa.
