Although "Ses Begudes" is located in the middle of the mountains, accessing the villa is quite simple – however, you and your hire car must be ready for curves! A private and natural world awaits at your villa, made for a break on your own or for two, for walks and hikes, and for hours and days of doing nothing by the little saltwater pool. Fantastic views of the Tramuntana mountains and the beautiful village of Fornalutx – separated only by a wooden fence – extend the romantic little garden far into the distance, the house itself discreetly recedes into the shade of the trees with its honeycombed facade. There are plenty of seating and lounging areas with or without sun: Cosy wicker furniture by the draw well compete with the dining corner under the parasol and the vista around the barrel; the solid stone BBQ contributes delicious aromas to the panorama. Those looking for a solitary winter or work refuge will find what they need here...

...because the all-weather house features hot/cold air-conditioning as well as radiators and a fireplace. Robust wooden furniture plays its part in keeping the interior rooms, which flow from one to the next, warm and cosy; white walls and ceilings capture the light even in the darker months. Lazing about here during the island's summer, or properly curling up when the sun grows weaker, could turn into a unique Mallorca experience. The living room and kitchen, both down-to-earth and rustic, form a relaxed unit and are not far apart, and you will be happy to spend some time in the rocking chairs after a hike and enjoy a fragrant mountain herb tea. A double room (measuring 1.90 x 1.60 m) and a bathroom are connected to this area. The walk-in shower room offers abundant space and the sloped tile floor keeps the bathroom from flooding. "Ses Begudes" definitely has the potential to become a real Mallorcan hideaway.

Pack sturdy shoes if you decide to set up your holiday camp in the heights of Mallorca. You don't need to aim for major hikes such as the one around the Puig Major. Even a daily walk into Fornalutx, one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca, will suffice; to the small Plaça d’España for a bite to eat or to enjoy a coffee and read the news. Beautiful footpaths also lead directly to Sóller, for example the one via Biniaraitx; a health-concious alternative to constantly having to drive your car down the road (audible, yet quiet). Another incentive: A creamy, fruity ice-cream creation awaits you at the end. From the little orange town, the historic wooden train will take you to the ocean and the bustling beach promenade of the harbour. And once you've adjusted to the slower pace, hop on the Red Lightning train towards Palma and let it take you to the sights tunnel by tunnel and in slow motion.
