Those who settle in for their holiday in the heart of the island around S’Horta, Calonge, Cas Concos, and Felanitx can always expect hills and pine forests that invite you to take a stroll and enjoy a leisurely cycle, or narrow alleys and quaint shops that are made for an evening wander. But if you prefer the coast, this means: Portocolom ahoy! The drive from the country to the sea front takes just a few minutes. The MA-4016, which runs close to the house, helps you set the course immediately, also convenient for stocking up the fridge in the next town - unless you prefer to cross the street on foot to treat yourself to an evening in the romantic inner courtyard of the oldest grill restaurant on Mallorca. Nevertheless, you will surely dock at the fishing village and the southeast beaches quite frequently to breathe in sun and salt breezes and swap the pool water for ocean waves. Marina of Cala d'Or (approximately 8 km away) offers a more sophisticated vibe, at a commensurate price. Little Ibiza does cost a bit more, but also offers plenty to take in.
