Description

Cozy holiday apartment on the ground floor of a terraced house in Macari in the province of Trapani, on the west coast of Sicily, just 300 m from the sandy beach and the crystal clear sea. From the kitchen there is access to a small covered terrace overlooking the small enclosed garden, equipped for relaxation and for outdoor dining with a beautiful sea view; another covered terrace has an outdoor kitchen and is furnished with a table and chairs. At 3 km San Vito Lo Capo, beautiful and famous seaside resort, renowned for its white sandy beach and clear blue sea, with services and shops of all kinds. 12 km from the Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve - an unspoilt natural oasis with many species of plants and animals, with a coastal path that winds for 7 km connecting San Vito lo Capo and Scopello which is a corner of paradise for diving enthusiasts. The tourist port of San Vito Lo Capo is equipped with various types of boats suitable for maritime excursions along the coast and to the Aegadian islands. Furthermore, San Vito Lo Capo is one of the largest climbing areas in southern Italy. The great walls of Monte Monaco and Monte Cofano have always attracted climbers from all over Europe, thanks to the beautiful cliffs equipped for sport climbing. In San Vito lo Capo are organized many events throughout the year such as the international Kite Festival (late May), the celebration of the patron saint (June 15) with traditional parades and games, and the renowned "Cous Cous Fest" (late September) - international festival of Mediterranean culture and gastronomy. We recommend you to taste the typical local dishes: black bread of Castelvetrano, the “busiate” pasta with Trapany-style pesto and typical sweets such as “cannoli” and "graffe". Just 37 km from the beautiful ancient medieval village of Erice in hilly position with its Cathedral and Venus Castle. 54 km the the Archaeological Park of Segesta with the ancient theater, the Greek temples and the thermal baths. Trapani Airport is about 45 km away.
