Description

Bright and spacious Villa Aranci offers the best of both worlds with its impressive rural setting on the Sorrento Peninsula. It sits on a tree-dotted hillside with stunning views over the sea and to the island of Capri. These views can be enjoyed from around the villa's beautiful outside spaces. Whether that's the ground-floor seating terrace, extensive gardens or the dining patio that can be found under a charming pergola.
The interior of Villa Aranci is extensive and covers three floors; making it ideal for large families and groups of friends. Two living spaces offer further flexibility and options to suit any occasion or mood. One features a large sofa bed for relaxing and watching television, as well as a casual dining area. The second features several sofas and an open brick fireplace for enjoying sociable, cosy evenings when the weather is cooler outside. Doors open straight out onto a huge terrace with plenty of seating for appreciating the clear sea views. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped and gives direct access to the pergola-covered outdoor dining patio.
There are a total of five double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms at the villa. All are of a generous size and have a wonderfully peaceful feel. Three bedrooms are on the upper floor, with two offering some of the very best views over the sea and the island of Capri.
With several spacious outdoor spaces on offer, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to how you enjoy the views and soak up the idyllic atmosphere. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks either on the villa's ground-floor terrace or at one of the seating areas found dotted around the rambling gardens. The star attraction of the outside space is the pergola-covered dining space with large table, outdoor kitchen, barbecue and wood oven. Here you have everything you need for unforgettable al fresco meals, with the bonus of breathtaking views as the sun sets over the sea.
Build up an appetite for those meals by enjoying a dip in the private pool located on the upper level of the gardens. You'll come across a variety of typical Mediterranean plants and trees as you take a stroll through the picturesque gardens themselves.

With both the countryside and sea close by, plenty of activities are on offer when you stay at Villa Aranci. Within minutes you can be enjoying long walks through winding streets and lush hills, coming across tucked-away churches and buildings that are typical of the countryside here.
The nearest village is just a short drive away and offers fantastic hiking trails with sea views out over the Gulf of Naples. Enjoy the beach with seafood restaurants right on the sand in the small fishing village of Marina di Puolo.

#### Location
The nearest village is Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi (3km), which is less than a 10-minute drive away from the villa. It has a very good range of restaurants, bars and shops on offer. There's also a supermarket, fishmongers, petrol station, pharmacy, bakery and a bank.
Typical for a rural village in the Sorrento area, there are lots of pretty churches to admire as you stroll along its streets. There's even a Benedictine monastery perched on a hilltop that offers spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. You can enjoy walks through the surrounding hills to make sure you tick the monastery off your sightseeing list.
You can reach the coast in less than 20 minutes by car. The beach at Marina di Puolo features both sand and rock, giving you a choice of where to unwind and relax. You can hire sun loungers and umbrellas for taking breaks from swimming in the beautiful, clear sea. Some restaurants have tables on the very beach itself; making them lovely spots to enjoy an evening meal as the sun starts to set.
The seaside town of Sorrento (12km) is around a 25-minute drive away from the villa. It's famous for its rugged coastal landscape, with cliffs overlooking bathing platforms to access the rocky shore and sea. Away from the water, a maze of cobbled streets makes up Sorrento's old town. Along these streets you'll find pavement cafes for enjoying some people spotting and shops for buying local crafts as souvenirs.
Take a day trip to Naples (58km) to explore beautiful architecture than spans many centuries. Highlights include the fresco-filled Duomo di San Gennaro, 13th-century Castel Nuovo and the Royal Palace. Just outside the city is impressive Mount Vesuvius - which you can try walking up if you're feeling active!
