Next to the aga in the living room, a narrow staircase snakes its way up to the upper floor; the landing takes you into an especially bright and friendly bedroom with a double bed as well as a room with a wardrobe, a desk and two single beds. The bathroom, also on the upper floor, has the luxury of a bathtub, should you wish for a reflective end to the day.

And if you do run out of ideas, then why not head for the turquoise-blue waters and the Caribbean-esque beaches, such as Plajta de Port de Pollença. Depending on wind direction, you might be able to hear a few traffic noises – but mainly what characterises the north of Mallorca is the peace and quiet here. In Cala Millor, only a hour away, you can also throw yourself into the effervescent island nightlife.
