Description
Located between San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro Nature Reserve, this holiday home is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation with dwarf palm trees, olive and western strawberry trees. It offers a nice view of the sea, the cliffs and the old "Tonnara del Secco". At night you have a wonderful view of the stars. For those who like to go hiking, only about 100m from the house there is a path leading to the mountain "Monte Monaco". For climbers there are about 400 equipped paths. San Vito Lo Capo is known for its crystal clear sea, the white sand beach, the sun, the white fishing houses and the culinary delights. In September the CouCous Fest takes here place, an international competition dedicated to this dish. In spring there is the "Climbing Festival”, an event dedicated to climbing and mountain biking; And the "Festival degli Aquiloni" takes place in June. The accommodation is an ideal starting point for interesting excursions: the lively Trapani from where hydrofoils take to the Egadi Islands; Marsala, known for its wine cellars; the ancient city of Erice, built by the Elymians; the ruins of Selinunte, built by the Greeks; Mozia, an ancient Phoenician town on the island of San Pantaleo, which is part of the nature reserve "Isole dello Stagnone di Marsala" (since 1984 it is under the protection of nature of UNESCO). Here you can admire the salt mines and windmills. In the nearby Castellammare del Golfo you can enjoy thermal and mud baths, ideal for relaxing.
