BOCCIOLO FARMHOUSE sits on more than an acre of private grounds surrounded by quintessential Italian countryside: olive groves, vineyards and hills rolling into the distance. Enjoy the views from outdoor living areas and from the private pool. Set hillside by mediterranean woods, this 4 bedroom farmhouse has been owned by the same family for over a hundred years and was restored in mid 2019. The Villa is located a very short drive away from the city centre of Lucca (5 mins) and It’s an ideal base for exploring nearby towns like Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Pietrasanta, Montecatini Terme and the sandy beaches of Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi.

Sun-exposed windows let in the Tuscan sun, and pastel walls and cotto and wooden floors bounce the light around for a warm, airy feel. Gather around the outdoor Lemon House with its wood fired pizza oven, or enjoy a cozy dinner by the light of the traditional Tuscan fireplace in the indoor dining room. Not only both the indoor and outdoor kitchens are fully equipped, but so homey to create a charming atmosphere.

There’s furnished pool house with a fully equipped kitchen and wood fired pizza for outdoor dining. Try the Barbeque as well! This lovely Lemon House has a dining table wih grand windows overlooking the garden and comes with a bathroom (this is where the 3rd bathroom is located).

Thanks to a careful restoration, it’s now comfortable and chic, with traditional details like cotto floors and beamed ceilings set off by rustic furnishings.

Though you could spend your time at BOCCIOLO FARMHOUSE simply lounging by the pool the region is well worth exploring. Hit a few balls at the tennis court that’s 5 minutes away, or saddle up at the nearby horseback riding center, which offers guided excursions. The beach is a 20 minute drive away, the harbor town of Viareggio is 20 minutes away.

The grounds and scenery around BOCCIOLO FARMHOUSE make it the perfect setting for a family reunion, a milestone birthday or anniversary celebration or even a destination wedding—and the honeymoon after. If you’ve just come to sightsee, it’s an easy walk through the Tuscan fields to a nearby restaurant, where you can dine. Drive to Siena or Volterra for the day, and if you have time, continue your trip to the Garfagnana area.

COVID_19 CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2021 AND 2022 BOOKINGS

In these challenging times we understand your concern when making a reservation, and we want to ensure that you feel safe and confident reserving through us. We have therefore introduced a more flexible cancellation policy, for bookings made after November 2020, with arrivals in 2020, 2021 and 2022. In case of travel restrictions of the Italian Government due to COVID_19 we will give our guests the possibility of re-scheduling the reservation to a future date. If you aren't able to decide a date immediately we will issue a voucher, that you can use for any future booking, on any of our properties. We are sorry but we are not in the position to take into consideration travel restrictions issued by other Governments, or airline cancellations.
