Description

Even though it is named after the prehistoric structure from the Talaiotic period that was discovered close by, this family- and especially cyclist-friendly villa (with various services offered by the landlords) in the middle of nature doesn’t date back to ancient times. But it is still worth "digging up" all the assets on the spacious grounds of "Puig de ses Toltes", especially because some of the building’s most beautiful parts are hidden under luscious vegetation. You could try and get your dog and his talented nose to help you uncover all of them! Some of these assets are: the fantastic view of the Serra de Calicant that you can reach by bike in the direction of Petra and Ariany; the separate sundeck with a summer lounge by the child-proof pool; the BBQ under the leaf canopy with the ambiance of an Italian piazza; the chill-out area with hammocks under trees, and the small furnished terraces adjacent to the building. You will surely find even more charming details on the pictures! It’s entirely possible that you will end up spending your entire holidays on the villa...

The rooms in "Puig de Ses Toltes" are a perfect place to relax - especially the master suite on the ground floor with a modern bathroom including a built-in shower. Caution: the TV corner might tempt one to become a couch potato. Three additional cheerfully decorated guest rooms downstairs and an open room upstairs (with exclusive access to the sundeck) share the other two bathrooms. Admittedly, this isn’t plenty but with a bit of planning definitely possible. If the three extra beds are added, things could end up being a bit too cosy. While some of you are taking a shower, the others can make their way to the kitchen bar for the first espresso of the day and then go looking for the perfect breakfast spot outside. The kitchen consists of two parts and was skilfully integrated into the living room. It’s big enough for several people preparing delicious eggs and bacon to give you enough energy for your bike trip. The fireplace is the perfect spot for some late-night planning of the next day at the beach or your next day trip, or for discussing the different possible routes. Alternatively, you could oil your muscles with some strong liquids.
The spaciousness and facilities of this villa can be used in a manifold different ways - please feel free to contact us, if you want to travel with more than 8 people.

There are plenty of hidden beauties in this Mediterranean landscape for you to discover. The small town of Sant Llorenç has had the nickname Cardassar ("in the thistles") ever since a Madonna figurine was found in the bushes. Here you can either relax and enjoy the calm atmosphere or you can hike in the hills or all the way up the Calicant mountain to an altitude of 473 metres. Another option would be to jump on a horse, a bike or a mountain bike. This small and tidy town has some nice shops and restaurants, so you don’t have to venture far if that’s what you’re looking for. On top of that, you’ll find plenty of hustle and bustle, a maritime flair and beautiful beaches like Sa Marjal or Sa Coma along the south-eastern coastline between the Cap d’es Pinar in the north and the Punta de sa Roca in the south.
