Description

Perfectly placed! The natural beauty of the peninsula, with one of the most popular golf courses in Europe, an ocean-view hillside location among the villas of Alcanada (near Port d’Alcúdia), upscale neighbourhood, modern architecture: villa "Alcanada Lighthouse" could become the beacon of your Mallorcan holiday. With a garage that also provides a table tennis table, two floors, balconies, and a comfortably furnished rooftop terrace, you're all set for every mood and weather condition. Even in a larger group, everyone will find ample space here. The views to the ocean, the mini island, and a real lighthouse will enchant you every day. Early birds can continue dreaming in the lounge corner or in the rocking chair and enjoy their coffee or tea twice as much. A small pool with an outdoor shower and sun loungers on the lower level provides you with the necessary refreshment on summer days, that is in case you don't feel the need to take your swimsuit and towel and head to one of the two local beaches.

A light-flooded interior! Two predominantly white floors with a loft-like character, wide glass frontage, modern wooden and rattan furniture, heating, and air-conditioning: villa "Alcanada Lighthouse" has a crystal-clear idea of what a stylish Mallorca holiday should look like. And it carefully separates the living space into a communal living/dining lounge with a high-gloss kitchen and a bathroom on the upper floor (which can be accessed from the street) and into a sleeping area at pool level. All four double rooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite, one with a shower tub) are located here; the hallway leads outside to the terrace. Special elements such as the "footbridge" between the dining table and the TV corner and the sliding door to the kitchen, or the Spanish inspired wall paintings and white blinds, which can partially darken the room, create a luxurious sense of well-being. To ensure that this is not disturbed, the washing machine and tumble dryer are set apart, to always keep your beach towels fresh and ready to go.

Leave the house on foot and dive into the sea: the small Cala Ponset with its shallow sloped shore and the gravel beach Alcanada at the golf course make this possible. Directly opposite, the 25-m high lighthouse - the villa's namesake - attracts visitors. You can swim across with just a few powerful strokes. The flora and fauna of the La Victoria peninsula is best explored on foot, but a short trip by car to the marina of Bon Aire on the west coast is also worthwhile. This route will also take you to the Fundació Yannick y Ben Jakober, a fantastically designed museum palace for modern art. If you head towards Port d’Alcúdia and Can Picafort, plenty of sand and swimming opportunities can be found. The best way to spend the evening is in one of the restaurants in the meandering old town of Alcúdia, unless the cosy rooftop terrace lures you back to the Lighthouse...
