Description

Villa Ginestra is a light, airy vacation home with breathtaking Mediterranean views. The house is cool and spacious, with a lovely terrace under the shady olive trees. You can have breakfast al fresco and drink your wine in the evening in the small wood cabin in front of the sea.

The sea access is through a private path among lemon, orange and fig trees and the sandy beach down there is safe for children and a quiet haven for grown-ups. You can swim and snorkle in the delightful little bay and take the sun , drinking or having ice-cream at the small bar open in the summer monthes.
The house has a large living room with a dining area, TV and free wi-fi. There are two large bedrooms with double beds (one can be separated into two singles), and a further bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine and asecond toilet. The kitche is small but fully-equipped.
In the terrace near the house you find outdoor fornitures and a grill.

Electricity, towels and bed linen are included, air-conditioning in the living room and in the main bedroom is metered and extra charged (0,72 cent a Kw).

In the nearby towns of Trabia and Termini Imerese you can buy everything you need to cook perfect Italian cuisine: fresh fish and meat, vegetables and a lot of fruit from the local gardens.
The area nearby has a lot of excellent restaurants and pizzerias if you prefer to eat out.

Villa Ginestra is exceptionally well situated for touring the whole of Sicily: you can have short trips to the archeological finds of Himera, the castle of Caccamo, the Cathedral of Cefalù and the capital city od Sicily, Palermo!
(about 30 minutes drive away).
For a longer day out, why not visit the natural park of Madonie, the active volcano Etna, the greek temples of Agrigento or Erice and Segesta with the well-known wineries?

A car is advisable for your stay, although Trabia is at walk distance (15 minutes on foot). You have one alloted parking space; if you arrive with two cars, give information to the owners.

The railway is very convenient for many destinations, especially to go to Palermo. The railway stations are in Trabia and in Termini Imerese.
It's also possible to rent a car and to have it direct in the property, but it's better to book it in advance if it's summer time.
