Description

An absolute connoisseur's property that passes the versatility test with distinction! "Can Ses Figueres" contrasts the craggy mountain ridges against its sumptuous curves, a magical cactus garden that a gardener has landscaped with passion all around the house, with lounge chairs and rocking benches in enchanting nooks here and there. The benches and garden furniture suites offer more lovely places to rest, partially designed as cosy little retreats, but also with breathtaking views over the great bay of Alcúdia here and there. In addition, there is a outdoor barbecue and a generous supply of seating around the pool. A path leads to the small saltwater pool, which was designed like a pond amidst greenery, and down to the pebble beach of Ca los Camps. Sky blue window shutters try to outshine the sea. The views through the large terrace arches artfully fuse together into a painting. You can switch between table and chairs here, again and again, and the perspectives change, or relax on the upper balcony, where the views are defined by sea and expansiveness. Given such a large estate, guests will be reassured that the owner lives in a small house on the estate but shares only the parking area with the guests. The expanse of land surrounding the villa is almost completely isolated. In a completely peaceful setting at the end of a cul-de-sac, its only neighbours are a few other villas dotted around. On the right, it borders the beginning of the woodland and nature reserve, Es Canons. The entire mountain region in the background is part of the nature park Llevant.

Well-groomed "Can Ses Figueres" entices not only with the stylish furnishings but also with a generous room layout that older guests will surely appreciate! The open-plan and bright lounge, with the arched lattice windows, has a lounge vibe. Inviting wicker sofas by the wood-burning stove are ready for cosy teatime as quiet piano music is played. The TV armchairs have a nook all for themselves. You will have an easy time cooking in the curved spacious kitchen with its garden views. You can also monitor what's cooking in the pots from the terrace. A staircase with wide steps leads you upstairs where you can find three apartment-like guest rooms with plenty of space and comfort. The blue sitting area in the tower, the cosy winter garden, or if your prefer, the balcony with panoramic views are all extras that you can enjoy. People who do not always wish to be in close contact can also live comfortably here together. Two well-equipped bathrooms (one downstairs, one upstairs) make this villa a really well-rounded property...

In spite of the rugged mountain terrain, families with children will also feel happy with the quiet and friendly fishing village of Colònia de Sant Pere with its protected swimming area. Just a short drive on the small coastal road and you're already in the harbour. The small bay Ca los Camps, perfect for swimming, is accessible to the public like all of the coasts in Spain. The sand/seaweed/pebble beach is especially popular with the locals and therefore never over-full even at the height of the summer season. The water is clear blue, and the tamarisk trees confer welcome shade even on the hottest summer days. The estate is right by the sea, and it's only around 100 m from the house. You can find other beaches towards the southwest, for example the 1,800 m long S’Arenal de Sa Canova, which you can also reach from the S’Estanyol district along a coastal path. Mountain bikers and hikers can start from Ermita de Betlem and climb Puig de Ferrutx or Puig de sa Tudossa. But anyone who doesn't wish to go that high can climb Artà's Calvary hill and enjoy an espresso break in the town afterwards.
