Positano, one of the most picturesque towns on the Amalfi coast, and the magnificent port of Amalfi are both easily accessible from the house and within walking distance.

Up to 12 guests can be comfortably seated on the terraced floors typical of villas along this coast. The six double bedrooms, located in an annexe, have a living room and bathroom.

The five en-suite double bedrooms in the air-conditioned main house have access to patios or small balconies, making them ideal for watching the boats bobbing on the turquoise waters below.

As you share a meal on the upper terrace next to the roomy living and dining area, take in the shifting hues of the sea and the sky. Take a dip in the massage pool after your swim in the pool, or unwind on the lawn in the shade of a tree.

Positano is well known for its terracotta, peach, and pink houses, as well as for its fine dining establishments, boutique boutiques, and art galleries.

Its narrow, winding roads descend to the charming main beach, where you can rent a chair in the shade and place a chilled wine order.

Daily boat cruises to Capri, Amalfi, and the Sorrento peninsula, as well as to nearby bays and caves, are offered in the summer. To visit more secluded beaches, rent a boat or kayak. You can even use a paddleboard to stay in the bay.

Shop around, place a gelato and pizza order, or take a moment to relax in the gorgeous Santa Maria Church.

You can hike part of "The Path of the Gods," a celestial path between Agerola and Nocelle, or climb up from Positano to the small settlement of Montepertuso at the foot of the Lattari Mountains.

Drive down the renowned Amalfi Coast Road in the direction of Amalfi, stop at the sleepy fishing village of Atrani, travel inland to serene Ravello, or go on a day trip to chic Sorrento or perhaps Pompeii.

Whatever you choose to do, you will undoubtedly enjoy coming home to your lovely villa with a view of the water.
