Description

Trelawney is a bright and airy cottage offering spacious comfortable accommodation throughout with sea views from every room. The accommodation comprises of a living room, dining room, kitchen and cloakroom. There are two bedrooms one with a double bed and single bed, one with children's bunk beds and single bed, family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. A door from the kitchen takes you to a small south facing patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining with sea views. There is a private gated parking area and a pretty enclosed garden opposite the cottage.
It is situated only a five minutes' walk to the town centre where you will find a selection of small supermarkets to include a Co-op and Tesco Express, there are parks and gardens, museums and the Winter Gardens - an entertainment venue with a growing reputation for theatre, concerts, comedy and dance shows and of course the restaurant/bar. The renowned Ventnor Haven Fishery at The Marina sells the daily catch of fresh fish and seafood; boat trips are also available from here.

A short walk down to Wheelers Bay will take you to the Esplanade with a number of great restaurants in Ventnor including The Spyglass, The Ale & Oyster, and the Met Bar to name a few. Or if you fancy a take-away to enjoy by the beach, the Ventnor Haven Fishery on The Esplanade sell fantastic fish & chips, locally caught and prepared to order.

Ventnor Botanic Garden lies in the remarkable microclimate at the heart of the famous 'Undercliff.' This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk downs. In addition to enjoying the lovely gardens, it also hosts events and exhibitions and there is a restaurant and Café on-site for refreshments; lunch or coffee and cake!

From The Esplanade you can take the level walk, along the sea wall to Bonchurch, or walk along the cliff path towards Steephill Cove, a beautiful sheltered bay only accessed by foot.
