Cottongrass Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in Littleborough. It has two bedrooms including a super king-size double and a twin room and there is also a family bathroom; the cottage can sleep four people in total. Also inside is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a gas fire. To the outside there is roadside parking to the back of the property, as well as a patio to the front with a bench. Cottongrass Cottage is a pleasant cottage in a great location to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Amenities: Gas central heating with underfloor heating and gas fire. Electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Roadside parking less than 30 yards away up the road on the left and also there is a private car park opposite the cottage on Schofield Street. Two bike racks. Front patio with bench. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: There are steeper steps leading up to the front door from the road. Note: There may be some road noise due to the property being next to the road. Note: Internal stairs may steep and not suitable for the infirm or people with mobility issues

Town: Littleborough is dissected by waterways and lakes where you can explore the North West’s countryside. Hillsides are on the doorstep with the village offering coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Littleborough Farmers' Market and Craft Fair is worth a visit. Hollingworth Lake and Country Park is just outside the village and visitors can enjoy outdoor attractions and an excellent visitor centre. Spanning 118 acres with the backdrop of Blackstone Edge, the lake is one of the most popular days out in the area. With boating, a nature reserve, trails, events, guided walks, community arts, environmental exhibitions, play and picnic areas it is the perfect day out for the family. The water activity centre caters for groups and individuals wanting instruction in windsurfing, dinghy sailing and other water-based sports as well as mountain biking and climbing.
The Country Park has walking routes, from easy strolls sturdier treks in the surrounding hills. Littleborough is near to the Yorkshire Dales and the northern Peak District as well as being within reach of Manchester and Leeds. With its beautiful preserved stone buildings, Littleborough and nearby Hollingworth Lake and Country Park are well worth a visit.
