A warm welcome to this rustic villa with the pretty name of "Paisaje". Translated, this means "scenery", and this villa as well as the surrounding area in the middle of the island around Petra have lots of this to offer. The old natural stone wall has been completely renovated and made into a cosy summer holiday home. With a generous living space of 400 m², there is plenty of room for a maximum of 8 people. On the ground floor, there is an open-plan living/dining room. The house layout with its partially exposed old stone brickwork and the earth colours used on the ceiling, walls, and floors create a really cosy feeling of harmony. Two comfy leather sofas in front of the open corner fireplace further emphasise the homely feel. The dining area with its oval table and seating for eight is located near the fireplace, adding to the convivial character of the handsome living/dining area. The kitchen is a particularly striking, large room that occupies the former hall of the old farmhouse. It can be accessed from both ends. The fully equipped wooden kitchen offers every comfort travelers, especially larger groups of travelers who opt for a self-catering holiday, need. Everything is here – from a coffee and Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, cooker, and large refrigerator to a dishwasher. The large clay sink has been preserved and is partially fitted into the wall. In its days of agricultural use, this was probably the only water source in the house. This detail has been lovingly carved out and fully incorporated into the kitchen's design. On the same floor, you will find one of the four bedrooms with a modern shower room.

The remaining three bedrooms are on the top floor and share a huge, particularly modern bathroom. Two bedrooms have double beds, the other two each have two single beds. All bedrooms enjoy a really pleasant atmosphere. A good night's sleep is guaranteed under exposed wooden beams in spacious rooms. Both bathrooms are particularly modern with trendy bath furniture, walk-in showers, and even a bidet.

Outside the villa, there is a nice wild looking garden, which reinforces the authenticity of this property. There are many seating options in the outside area. These are spread over the garden, some in the shade for those preferring protection from the sun. A large millstone has been turned into a table with seats, a glass plate fitted for the table top. The 40 m² salt water pool, with its meandering pattern of mosaic tiles is on a type of elevated location next to the house and the outside kitchen. For your relaxation, there are comfy sun loungers on a lawn, lined with a cactus garden and numerous almond trees, which surround the entire residence. This enormous cactus garden is of incredible and venerable beauty and emphasises once again the age of this lovely property. We particularly like the handsome outdoor kitchen, quite near to the pool. It is fully equipped with a grill, oven, refrigerator, and even has running water. Here, on the covered terrace, you might like to spend your evenings with a sociable BBQ enjoying fresh produce from the local markets or a good glass of wine, which the region around Petra is particularly well-known for. On one of the separate estates of the villa, there is a friendly neighbour – Murta, the donkey, who children in particular will love.

The traditional villa "Paisaje" is located in a pretty secluded and really quiet location, surrounded by lots of almond trees. A small country road, that leads from Sineu to Petra means that Petra can be reached in five minutes by car. On foot, this pretty resort can be reached in just 20 minutes. The friendly villa owners have worked out that you can hear a train for about 4 seconds every hour, as the railway track is about 70 m away from the house. Apart from this, your peace will not be disturbed. The nearby village of Petra with its golden brown stone houses is reminiscent of a dreamy town far from hustle and bustle. You should certainly visit the weekly market and the small bars, cafes, and restaurants in this tranquil town, which has developed a good infrastructure whilst still retaining its tranquillity. The weekly market at Plaça Ramon Llull (always Wednesdays) is cheerful and bright and great for shopping or taking a stroll.
