#### Location
Villa Ocells sits in a quiet spot, just 4 km from the lovely and peaceful Cala Canyelles beach and 7 km from the centre of Tossa de Mar. Close to all the renowned, beautiful attractions, the Costa Brava has to offer; this is a great base for exploring a fabulous area!

The Costa Brava's rugged coastline stretches from Blanes to the French Border, scattered with golden sandy beaches, quiet coves and energetic seaside towns. The area becomes more and more popular each year for its relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and even tastier wine! The summer months see this beautiful part of the world bustling with activity, the streets alive with local festivals and music performances and the beaches busy with visitors. In the winter months, the Mediterranean climate means it is still a great spot to visit, with a much quieter and more tranquil atmosphere to enjoy!

Cala Canyelles beach can be recognised by its coarse white sand and crystal-clear seawater. Visitors can rent parasols and deck chairs as well as pedal boats, parasailing, water-skiing and canoeing – which will certainly keep kids and the more playful adults entertained! The beachfront restaurant serves up delicious fresh fish and huge paellas that cannot be missed.

Tossa de Mar is a beautiful walled medieval town, unlike anywhere you may have visited before. A little quieter than the busy neighbouring town of Lloret de Mar, this historic town appeals to families, couples and friends who want to immerse themselves in a little more of the area's history and culture. The maze of narrow cobbled streets takes you on an adventure between the charming old houses, just make sure you bring your camera along! The old town (Vila Vella) is located within the medieval walls, and you can venture along the walls themselves, enjoying the breath-taking views of the city and the Sea. Brimming with tapas bars, restaurants and shops, Tossa de Mar has everything you could need, and the beaches are as beautiful as you might expect, with such an attractive town as the backdrop. You can even head out on a boat trip, capturing this striking seaside town from a different perspective!
