Let us start with a tour around the outdoor area. The "large garden", which is the what the name of the villa means in Catalan, is surrounded by fields in a beautiful natural location. From the asphalt entrance, let's just leave the villa on our left-hand side and make our way over to the covered terrace in front of the house. "Are we allowed in the pool?" is the first thing the children will call out to you, while you picture yourself sitting here on balmy summer evenings with a glass of Mallorcan wine. A refreshing breeze blows from the built-in BBQ, which you've just discovered on the other corner of the terrace, the scent of braising lamp chops wafting towards you. A few steps further – on the west side of the villa – and we already find ourselves at the next covered terrace: A large rustic wooden table with two benches invites you to enjoy meals or a games night together here. It won't take long for you to feel right at home in this villa.

From the western terrace, there are several access points to the interior of your holiday residence. We're choosing the first door and coming into the kitchen. "WOW!" – the enthusiasm just doesn't stop. The bright and large room is an eye-catcher, thanks to both its many lovingly placed accessories, and the fact that it is equipped with everything you need for self-catering. While you're still amazed, there resounds a "Look at that!" over from the open living space. A family member has discovered the cast-iron fireplace that provides cosy warmth on cooler evenings. With its high ceilings and numerous clever splashes of colour, the generous and light-filled lounge radiates cosiness through and through. And you think to yourself, "We've chosen well", because you suddenly hear an "I'm sleeping here!" that comes crashing down to tear through your emerging bliss. A beautiful natural stone wall soon grabs your attention, though the voice is still calling out. Three bright-white, air-conditioned double bedrooms with comfy beds await you in this wing of the house. A spotless bathroom and a guest WC round off this section, which is decorated with a lot of love and care. "Happy" stands out over the beds in one of the bedrooms and you will certainly feel that way at this moment too.

Speaking of "happy", you will be pleased to realise you have found the perfect location for a villa as well. "S'Hortet Gran" is ideally placed for excursions and tours exploring the north of Mallorca. From Cala Ratjada, the most north-easterly point, through to Cap Formentor, the northernmost peak of the island, all of the sights and highlights of this region are easily accessible from here. Taking the nearby MA-13, which connects Alcúdia with Palma, will enable you to also get to the island's capital in about an hour. The two large bays of Alcúdia and Pollença with their kilometres of beaches are right on your doorstep. Smaller hidden coves can be found on the coast of the Victoria peninsula, which also welcomes hikers on picturesque tours. The "large garden" is simply a little dream! Arrive and feel at ease!
