In fact, it’s ranked as one of the world’s most impressive beaches and offers opportunities to relax, snorkel, swim, sunbathe or participate in adrenaline-infused water sports. On-site, there’s plenty to do, whether you want to swim in the pool, try the local dishes, relax at the beach, work out at the gym or have a decadent spa treatment. But there’s plenty to do beyond too. If you prefer keeping your feet on dry land, you can enjoy the Provo Golf Club, which is also close by. The club boasts an 18-hole golf course and makes for a challenging game regardless of skill level. With such picturesque surroundings, it also makes for an enchanting day. Further, still from the water, you can enjoy Bight Park. Enjoy a picnic, talk a leisurely stroll and visit the playgrounds. Are restaurants and shopping more your style? The island of Providenciales offers so much more too. For instance, you might want to take in the lagoon permeated with islands and mangroves that is Chalk Sound National Park. The best way to explore this enchanting area is by kayak or paddleboard, which can both be rented. If you’re new to snorkelling or diving, Coral Gardens and Smith’s Reef both offer plenty of opportunities to explore the world beneath the water. Conch is a local delicacy used in many meals on the island. A visit to Conch Farm will allow you to learn more about the conch and how they became so integral to the cuisine.
