The holiday home was renovated in 2006. It is situated in the village Vabriga, not far from the picturesque seaside resort Porec. The house is in the typical Istrian style with many precious details and has a warm and cosy atmosphere. The house contains many Venetian masks which the house owner makes herself and they go perfectly well together with the interior of the house. The well-kept garden has a swimming pool and a stone grill where you can prepare fish specialties which you can enjoy together with a glass of wine in the covered, shady sitting area. The terrace offers wonderful views to the surroundings. Not far from the house, you will find a restaurant and grocery stores and it will only take you a couple of minutes to walk to the coast. The lowest floor-to-ceiling height on the upper floor is 1 metre. This area is wellknown for its olive oil. There are magnificent views to the fertile plateaus which lean towards the sea to the southeast and drops down to the Mirna river mouth to the north. To the north is Novigrad and to the south ist Porec where you will find the Euphrasian Basicila which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Trg Marafor is a small square with the remains of a Roman temple. The original Roman paving can still be seen in some places. The Polezini Palace and the Sincic Palace are two prominent buildings which used to belong to aristocratic families. The Round Tower from the late 15th century is what is left of a fortified building.
