However this lovely holiday home is located at the bottom of the Arrábida Natural Park and 16 km away from the beach, so is advisable to rent a car, making it easier to enjoy long walks through nature or laze around at the beach.

Region:

It's the ideal place to enjoy nature, in close proximity to the spectacular beaches. In Azeitão village you can find a reasonable range of shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, supermarkets and for those who like to cook their own fish/seafood, there are nearby fish markets at Sesimbra or Setubal.
The region has excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese and small Swiss rolls (tortas) are the specialties of the village.
Sesimbra, the closest city, is famous for fish and shellfish restaurants.
Portinho da Arrábida and Sesimbra are the closest beaches, 15 minutes by car.
For the golfers, there are 3 recommended championship golf courses: Quinta do Peru (on-site), Aroeira (15km) and Tróia (20 km)
For lovers of horseback riding, there are horse riding schools nearby:
