Just 3 miles from the popular town of Bamburgh, this standalone lodge sleeps up to 2 guests and provides a comfortable base. When staying in the Lodge No.2, you’ll also have access to a shared living / dining area.



The exclusive Goldenhill resort has a wide range of activities on offer. From outdoor excursions like canoeing and abseiling to laidback facilities such as a hot tub, there will be plenty to choose from!

The Space:

Lodge No.2 at Goldenhill has a mini fridge, Smart TV and a kettle as well as comfy bed which can be set up as one king or two singles depending on your stay. It also boasts a modern en suite with a walk in shower, WC and basin. Outside you’ll find a bistro table and two chairs.



You’ll also be able to make use of the shared living and dining space at Goldenhill. This open plan room is ultra stylish and homely. The perfect place to make new friends, you can socialise here with the other guests at Goldenhill. Relax on the white leather sofa as you chat or kick back on the quirky statement chair as you watch the flat screen TV. There is also a large dining area and a beautiful wood burning stove with a starter kit provided. so there is plenty of space for everyone.



Goldenhill has a whole host of activities on offer designed to make you feel great! You’ll have a huge number of outdoor activities you can get involved in such as canoeing, abseiling, mountain biking, surfing and coasteering. If you’re looking to explore the great outdoors and get active, all of these incredible add ons are provided at this exclusive resort. Breakfast can also be provided for an additional fee. Goldenhill is just 3-miles to the gorgeous coastal town of Bamburgh which welcomes thousands of visitors each year and it’s easy to see why! With evidence dating back to the Bronze Age, this part of Northumberland has an incredibly rich history. The charming town has something for everyone, including a famous castle and miles of stunning coastline.



Its huge, open expanse of sand welcomes families, dog walkers and horse riders in abundance. You’ll soon forget the stresses of everyday life as you stroll along the beach hearing the waves lap the shoreline. Getting Around:

Goldenhill is located within 20 minutes’ drive time to beautiful areas within Northumberland such as Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell. There are excellent travel links as the cottage is only a short distance from the A1.



The closest train station is Chathill, which is roughly a 15-minute drive from Goldenhill so local towns in Northumberland can easily be reached via rail.



There are a number of bus stops throughout Belford. Hop on the 418 service to explore Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick and Alnmouth amongst others. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahorses.



Newcastle Airport is roughly one hour away by car.
