Guests can make use of a small room with billiard on the gr. fl., next to the outside staircase that leads up to the apartment as well as of an equipped courtyard and of the lawn adjoining the house where there is a swimming-pool (shared with the house owner). Made famous by the Palio, held every year in July and August in the fascinating scenery of Piazza del Campo, it offers to its visitors numerous ideas for cultural itineraries and for pleasant walks focusing on food and wine or shopping. It will be fascinating to plunge yourself into its historical center, divided into 17 Contrade (town districts), and try to reconstruct its history, to recast a fascinating picture of alliances and rivalries, still today particularly felt by its citizens. Here you can visit the Palazzo Pubblico and the tower Torre del Mangia, which adorn the beautiful Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral with its "facetone", from which you can admire an enchanting view of the city and the surrounding countryside, the Museo del Opera Duomo and the National Art Gallery.
