Description

Tamarit Park Resort is one of those holiday parks where everything is as it should be; the location right on the long sandy beach overlooking the castle, the many facilities for young and old, the good accommodations, the atmosphere and it is perfectly maintained. The resort is 2 km away. from the centre of Altafulla and Tarragona is 11 km. It is a large resort that consists of a luxury campsite and other sections where the various chalets are located. They are divided into groups over the park so that they all look like small villages. Tamarit Park Resort is an ideal destination for a sun/beach holiday or to explore the area. But you don't have to leave the resort; there is more than enough to do. You can let your imagination run wild and you'll find it there, for both the kids as well as yourself. There is a large outdoor swimming pool with slide, pool bar and sports bar. There are several restaurants, a lounge bar, fitness room, tennis courts, animation team, mini golf and much more. You do not have to be bored for a moment. The long sandy beach is not a private beach, but because of the location of the resort against a cliff where the castle stands, there will not be many locals on the beach. The port city of Tarragona is just 11 km from the resort. In the historic centre, you can still see various relics from the time of the Romans. Even large parts of the city wall can still be seen. The Cathedral and the Amphitheater of Tarraco are well worth a visit. Furthermore, there are several museums and El Balcó del Mediterrani (the balcony of the Mediterranean), a point from where you have a nice view over the city, the harbour and the Mediterranean Sea. From Tarragona, you can easily reach the famous city of Barcelona (approx. 100 km) via the high-speed train. A good option for a day trip! A bit closer to home you'll find the famous resort of Salou with its many shops, restaurants and terraces. Here is also Port Aventura, one of the biggest amusement parks in Europe. In short; a fantastic destination with good accommodations and many facilities for young and old!

This 5-pers. chalet has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two 1-pers. beds and a 1-pers. high sleeper. The chalets have air conditioning, an open kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and a bathroom with shower and toilet. You have a (covered) terrace/veranda and there is parking for one car. For an extra car you pay € 12 per night on the spot.

• The national policy is aimed at minimizing social contacts with others and ensuring (hand) hygiene. At holiday parks the amenities such as entertainment, kids club, swimming pool, wellness and the restaurants may have altered opening hours or might be closed. As soon as it is possible according to government advice, facilities will be opened once again.
