Baja Cascada can be found in the unique Moorish village of Cabrera in the Sierra Cabrera Mountain range in the province of Almeria in south eastern Andalusia. With Moorish domes, filigree arches and villas blending seamlessly into the mountainside, Cabrera is unique and evokes the rich architectural heritage of its Moorish roots.
This luxury detached villa with private pool resides in a secluded spot with stunning mountain views, yet the blue flag beaches of Mojacar Garrucha and Vera are only a twenty minute drive away.
From the entrance gate steps lead down on to the villas expansive terraces with the lovely private pool and various shady dining areas. The villa comprises of a large lounge and dining area, and large kitchen. To the rear the secluded garden room provides a peaceful retreat away from the modern distractions of the TV or internet and is ideal for reading or just relaxing.
There are three bedrooms, two have king sized beds and the third has twin 3ft beds that can be joined upon request. There are two bathrooms one en-suite and a family bathroom. With the villa and its surroundings all on one level Baja Cascada is the ideal retreat for a family or couples. guests have the use of the whole villa and private pool with its surrounding terraces and gardens which are enclosed. The gardens are stocked with grape vines and fruit trees which the guests are welcome to help themselves to when in season. There is a gas barbeque for guests use to enjoy dining on the terrace and the wonderful sunsets.

Although I am not on site for guests during their stay I have a dedicated management team who live in Cabrera. Shirley or Javier will meet our guests and show them around the villa upon their arrival. They are also happy to arrange an arrival package of food should guests require it at an additional charge. A complete manual is situated in the villa with all appliance instructions and useful information on the local restaurants and amenities. Shirley and Javier are available to ensure that all guests enjoy their stay in Cabrera and to offer any help or advice the guests may need. Both are fluent Spanish and English speakers, both have a wealth of knowledge of the area and both are well versed in the rental market.

Almeria is the nearest airport which is 45 minutes drive away, Murcia is 1.5 hours drive and Alicante approximately 2 hours drive. All of these airports link up with the E15/A7 motorway which makes driving straightforward and easy. we will be happy to send you directions once we know your travel plans and arrange to meet you.

To enjoy Baja Cascada and the areas around Cabrera you need to have a car. The nearest supermarket is situated in Turre that sells everything and is a 10 mins drive down the mountain. The small town of Turre has all kinds of shops and amenities including more bars, restaurants and a pharmacy. The beaches of Mojacar are 20 mins away, with their cosmopolitan restaurants, night clubs, and commercial centre shopping. Also of interest are the fishing port of Garrucha with its marina and sea food restaurants, and the town of Vera with its old Spanish bullring. Golf courses are also around 20 mins away. The water park is 25 mins away and Mini Hollywood and the Cabo de Gata natural park with its flamingos are all within an hours drive. Although the area has an abundance of attractions and amenities at the end of the day there is nothing better than coming home to your own private pool and enjoying a cocktail while watching the sun set over the mountains.
