Description

This exceptionally beautiful villa in the south of Mallorca is captivating, especially on account of its traditional architecture. Today this house is a modern, air-conditioned holiday retreat with a large pool and gorgeous, romantic garden. It stretches directly around the house, is 1,500 m² large, laid out similarly to a park, and offers plentiful spaces for lounging out beneath its old, shady trees. This villa is all about unwinding and enjoying. A large 11 x 5 m pool has been integrated into the centre of this attractive garden landscape, superbly ensuring that you stay fresh on hot days. The pool is tiled with decorative mosaic stones and has a depth that varies from 0.7 to 1.9 m with convenient access via steps from the pavement. It is surrounded by a wrap-around terrace with high-quality sun beds and shades as well as two magical Balinese beds – best get yourself a good book and tasty drink before you settle down for the day by one of them! Two small stone paths lead from the pool's terrace to the house, with a vast terrace running along the entire side of it. You can find additional seating on this terrace. In addition, there are several smaller terraces located around the house, including the rooftop terrace upstairs. You will find further pleasant places to relax everywhere around the house, giving you the chance to unwind and soak up the idyll that surrounds this wonderful villa. There are plenty of places to stroll and enjoy the calm throughout this small property. The appearance of the property's elegant, natural stone facade and the quintessential Mallorquin landscape all around always has and continues to attract the admiration of its visitors.

There are large double doors on the terrace facing the pool as well as on the opposite side of the house, through which you can enter the villa. The house has a large entrance foyer from which you can access the different areas downstairs as well as the villa's upper level. Immediately after entering the building, you will see the attention to detail with which the house was restored. The successful combination of traditional and modern architecture is definitely a visual eye-catcher and also creates an exceptional, homely atmosphere. The property features a total living area of 160 m² split up across spaces including three cosy bedrooms with reverse-cycle air-conditioning as well as two bathrooms. One bedroom, with a beautiful, open-plan design spread out across an atrium-style space, features an opaque curtain instead of a door so that privacy can be maintained. Additionally you have the aforementioned foyer that leads into the open-plan living and dining area, where you can spread out on the sofa in comfort and also dine indoors together at the dining table. This area is in turn connected to a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. With a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and four-burner hob, you will be well-equipped for self-catering.

The island's truly most stunning beaches, Es Trenc and Es Caragol, are a quick car trip away and, with particularly gentle access to the water, are extremely family-friendly. While Es Trenc can get busy during peak season and offers beachfront bars, Es Caragol on the other hand is entirely undisturbed and remains quiet even in July and August. If you head to Porreres on a Tuesday morning (approx. 6 km away), you will quickly notice that half the village is on the way to the weekly markets where, on top of fruit and vegetables, you can pick up household goods, clothing, and shoes.
