This splendid property offers guests the possibility to experience an exclusive stay, surrounded by the peaceful Colli Euganei Natural Park and with elegant apartments, restored with great attention to detail. Initially conceived as a monastery, the Castle was bought by a noble family at the start of the 19th century. The family equipped the property with impressive wine cellars, thus beginning a wine production that became renowned throughout Europe. There is a wealth of spa centres just a few minutes away from the Castle where it is possible to book all kinds of treatments and massages, as well as the renowned mud treatments. The Castle is located in the heart of the Colli Euganei Natural Park, a protected area boasting striking landscape, the perfect spot for mountain bike fans and those who enjoy nature walks. Art lovers should not miss out on a trip to Castello di Monselice, the medieval village of Arquà Petrarca, Padua (27 km) and Venice (65 km), as well as a wealth of other destinations offering numerous sites of interest.

THE UNIQUE STORY, AS TOLD BY THE HOME OWNER Visiting this place is not for a mere tourist trip, but it’s a place that has a history and has remained faithful to it. There is an epigraph on the main façade that was affixed for the passage of Vittorio Emanuele III, who was hosted during the First World War by the Corinaldi counts. The armistice with Austria-Hungary was signed in Padua and the king used the villa as his headquarters during the last months of the First World War. It’s history, its relaxing atmosphere, its wineries and green areas, together with the Castle’s elegance and attention to details make guests feel welcome. Everything is designed to offer guests an exclusive experience from rooms to kitchens and bathrooms safeguarding today's comforts and amenities in a setting that is both elegant and luxurious. With its suggestive swimming pool in a lemon grove, its green areas and its elegant atmosphere the Castle offers experiences that go beyond the mere tourism trip. It is a place that embraces people, a small corner of peace. Quote: "Our family acquired ownership of the estate in 1920. In this marvellous setting, history has been written: the castle dates back to 1150 and even King Victor Emmanuel III passed through here in the closing stages of the First World War. We are in a place that is rooted in the past, but at the same time has the well-being of its guests at heart thanks to the elegance of its carefully renovated apartments, to its green spaces, gardens with fruit trees, vineyards and wine tasting.
