Hayloft At Wheel Farm

The Hayloft is a pretty one bedroom pet friendly cottage located at Wheel Farm near Combe Martin in North Devon. The cottage, which comfortably accommodates couples with a good sized double bed has a great mix of old and new. Guests can also benefit from the onsite communal leisure facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, a tennis court and extensive grounds featuring woods and fields where dogs can be walked.

The cottage, which is positioned around a central courtyard has some wonderful period features that have been nicely blended in with modern day comforts. The open plan living room has a comfy lounge with sofas, TV and wood burning stove, there is also a kitchen that is equipped to a good standard and a dining area. On the first floor of the cottage is the double bedroom, which has lots of storage space. There is also a large bathroom with shower over the bath.

Although The Hayloft does not have its own private garden there is a nice communal courtyard, as well as other area around Wheel Farm where guests can enjoy a picnic or sit back and relax with a book.

The cottage is perfectly located for couples or families with a baby to unwind in the North Devon countryside. Just a short drive from the cottage is the seaside town of Combe Martin, which has several places for guests to eat, including pubs, restaurants and take away establishments, there are also many different shops selling everything from souvenirs to day to day essentials.

Combe Martin also has its own beach, which is nicely sheltered and is great for a number of water sports as well as sunbathing. The walks from the beach are also perfect for walkers with the Hangman Hills offering some of the best views of the coastline. For dedicated walkers stroll along the South West Coast Path to Heddon's Mouth and enjoy a spot to eat at the Hunter's Inn.

There are also many other nearby beaches including the award winning Woolacombe and surfers paradise, Croyde.

Many different attractions can be accessed locally such as Arlington Court, Exmoor Zoo and Broomhill Sculpture Gardens. Alternatively, spend time exploring the pretty towns and villages scattered around North Devon, including Appledore and Instow.

Exmoor National Park is just a short drive from The Hayloft and is great for guests looking to see the local wildlife. Whilst discovering the national park stop off in one of the local pubs or tea rooms for a cream tea.

DOG/PET POLICY
One dog/pet is welcome at Hayloft. There is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Please notify us at time of booking, and the additional charge will be added to your booking. All payments must be made prior to arrival.

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
Electric car charging is available in the car park. There are additional charges payable on arrival - charged at £30 per week and £20 per long weekend
