For the adventurous, 15-30 minutes to canopy ziplines, hikes to waterfalls, river kayaking and mangrove tours. Local horseback riding on the beach, surfing lessons and local restaurants within minutes.
A 15-30 minute drive north to Manuel Antonio/Quepos or south to Dominical/Uvita for unlimited restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
Thirty steps and you are on the volcanic sandy beach, taking part in the brilliantly colored sky as the sun sets into the sea. A romantic evening pool swim unveils the deep midnight blue sky above, with the clear, bright constellations.
