Description

Among the green hills of the Monferrato region a few kms from the great city of Turin (42km), in the small hamlet of Amarengo, cosy and elegant country house dated back to 1900 with typical vaults in bricks from Piedmont. The house is inside an estate but it is independent. It is divided into 2 floors. On the ground floor: living room, bathroom with shower, kitchen; on the first floor: bathroom, 2 double bedrooms, one of which connected to a bedroom with bunk beds (passing room) and balcony. The garden with plants, small lake with goldfishes and children plays is equipped for outdoor dinners tasting the all over the world famous products like wine, salami and truffles, easy to find also in the typical restaurants of the area. The place is ideal to discover the rural area with woods, fields and vineyards and to visit the small hamlets and country houses. The art lovers cannot miss to visit the ancient Italian capital city, Turin, with its Egyptian museum, its royal palaces and the Venaria (former royal palace). The village offers in July the Rock festival event which attracts thousands of people. On site possibility to attend a wine tasting school, typical Piedmont cooking lessons, searching truffles (only at the week ends) and a catering service (request when booking and payment on site).
