Description

Casa Compass is a traditional, cottage style villa set against the backdrop of the Montgo mountain and only 10 minutes from Javea and Denia. The villa is set on a single level flat plot with a private pool, terrace and dining area. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people with both double bedrooms having en-suite wet rooms and the main villa benefiting from a modern and stylish suite with walk in shower. All bedrooms benefit from hot and cold airconditioning. There is a small but perfectly formed kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and toaster and a well equipped set of crockery and utensils.

There is a traditional Spanish style living room with lovely terracotta floor tiles and an Andalucian style fire place. There is Wi-Fi provided free of charge and UK freeview channels on the flat screen TV and sofa seating for 6 guests. To the front of the villa is a glazed naya (terrace) with a dining table for 4 and comfortable lounge seating, a lovely escape from the heat of the sun.

You leave the naya and come out pool side where you will find 6 sun beds with parasols and a further shaded dining nd lounge area with gas BBQ. The pool is 8m x 4m with non slip paving and complete privacy.The villa is set at the end of a very quiet cul de sac with no through traffic and ample off road, secure parking for up to 3 cars.

Golf: Within 5 minutes drive of the villa is La Sella Golf Club. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 27 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres for 18 holes. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool.

Javea golf club, between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant..

Within a 30 miinute drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.

Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europes largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.

Javea Town: Javea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.

La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Javea’s postcards.

A security damage deposit is payable 7 days before arrival by bank transfer or by credit card and will be returned within 7 days of departure following a satisfactory check of the facilities at the property.
