COVID-19 update, CYPRUS. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GUESTS.

As of 31st August 2020 Cyprus had currently only had 922 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 17 deaths. At present the Cypriot government are easing their lockdown and curfew policies which have been successful in keeping the island's infection and death rate extremely low.

In addition as owners we have implemented a strict deep clean policy for our Villa prior to arrival and post departure. This includes using medical grade disinfectant and anti-bacterial cleaning materials. We will also provide alcohol based sanitising gel in all bathrooms and the kitchen. Key collection and return is contact free.

In order to provide peace of mind we have relaxed our refund policy giving guests a full refund for cancellations 30 days prior to arrival, in addition dates can be changed with no charges or fees incurred for doing so up to 30 days prior to arrival, providing new dates are available and at a similar rate.

Villa Mariposa (villamariposa.eu) is a fully air conditioned lovely detached 3 bedroom (2 double and 1 twin) villa with private parking located in the popular Peyia area, close to all amenities including the stunning Coral Bay with it's many bars, restaurants and shops. Paphos is a 10 to 15 minute drive away with its bustling shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs and really has something for everyone!

The entrance hall to the property brings you to a large open plan living/dining area with a separate large fully kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has an extra door to the front of the villa with a small garden and delightful mature fruit trees. The entrance hall also features a useful guest cloakroom/w.c. From the living room there are shuttered patio doors giving easy access to the pool area surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens.

The large private pool is meticulously maintained pool ensuring the water is always crystal clear, and at night features beautiful mood lighting rotating through seven different colours. There is a covered veranda stretching right across the rear of the villa with a dining table and chairs for 6 people and rattan furniture and a seating area with coffee table and comfortable chairs for four people. Stairs take you to the first floor with 3 double bedrooms.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is another double bedroom and a twin sharing a large family bathroom. The master bedroom and the other double bedroom also have access to a large stunning well furnished balcony which also stretches across the whole of rear of the villa with fantastic sea and mountain views.

The large living room is immaculately furnished with a dining table and chairs for 6 people. There are also 3 beautiful Italian leather sofas, 2 x 2 seater and 1 x 3 seater.

In the living room there is a brand new state of the art 48 inch, curved screen Samsung smart TV giving both HD and 3D viewing. There is fast WiFi internet access throughout the whole Villa and TV has hundreds (literally) of TV channels, including all UK terrestrial and all Sky and Sky sports channels. In addition there is a unique movie channel showing movies newly released and showing in UK cinemas, kids TV and live UK and European sports channels including any game being broadcast live by Sky.

Other users can use their play stations, tablets and iPads simultaneously throughout the entire property and we are delighted to be able to say that this is FREE OF CHARGE and included in the rental price. There is a fair usage policy in terms of electricity and this depends on the time of year and length of stay. As an indication the price per week will include €15 of power and water with anything over and above that incurring a charge, your meter will be read after seven days (for two week bookings) so that you can gauge your electricity use. Unless you run the a/c 24/7 it is ulikely you will exceed this.

Finally for your security we have installed a state of the art GSM alarm system to protect your valuables whilst you are away from the Villa during the day or at night. Should the alarm be triggered our management company receive a text and are minutes away to confirm all is well. In addition there is an easy to use high security wall mounted safe to protect your valuables, passports and other precious items.
