All the amenities the Dordogne can offer are nearby, as is Hautefort with its beautiful château and well known gardens as well as restaurants offering specialities of the region. The detached stone house has beams, tiled floors and retains it original charm and traditional interior. It is accessed by steps from the enclosed lawned garden and has a private swimming pool. The riverside town of Montignac is 20 minutes away and offers canoeing on the River Vézère. The Lascaux caves, also 20 minutes, are a must as well as Les Eyzies, Sarlat and the beautiful city of Brive offering many shops and boutiques.
