This lovely holiday home is set in peaceful surroundings in Strängnäs, on the east coast. It's only 250 metres from lake Mälaren where you will find the boat that is included in the rent. Mälaren is rife with fish so why not take the boat out for a fishing trip? If you prefer mushrooming or berry picking then the area is perfect for you. The front door leads straight into the spacious living room which features a lovely fireplace and a TV. The living room opens onto the terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue grill. One one side of the living room you will find a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a WC, a washbasin, a shower cubicle, and a washing machine. On the other side of the living room there are two bedrooms. There's a third bedroom on the mezzanine. Altogether there's one double bed, five single beds and a cot. There are many interesting, historical sites in the area. You mustn't miss Birka, the old Viking city. The castle Gripsholms Slott is also a must-see. Strängnäs is set only 90 kilometres (a one hour drive) from Stockholm. Stockholm is well known for it's beauty and it's historical sites. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! It's is located next to the exotic castle Kina Slott and the delightful castle garden. In and around the city you will find plenty of things to do and see. Children will enjoy the amusement park Gröna Lund. Welcome to this great holiday home!
