The Wombat Burrow is the grown up version of the neighbouring villa "The Burrow" but with a distinct Industrial Wilderness theme.

Freshly renovated, each bedroom in the villa is fitted out with a Queen sized bed, making it ideal for couples and small groups travelling together.

The kitchen is complete with new appliances, cookware, plates and cutlery - everything you need for your stay. Linen and towels are also provided.

The lounge room has a large split system heat pump (air conditioner) which is sufficient to warm / cool the entire property and also offers TV and DVD player. There is a collection of DVD's in the entertainment unit as well.

The bathroom is mostly original with a few minor updates, but is serviceable and tidy.

The Laundry is complete with new washer and dryer.

Located a short 40 minute drive to Cradle Mountain - The Wombat Burrow is your ideal base to explore the Western Wilds and The Tarkine.

COMFORT - The Wombat Burrow has heat pump / air conditioner in the lounge room which keeps the property at a comfortable temperature.
TV - TV reception is great and crystal clear with standard free-to-air channels.
ENTERTAINMENT - There is a DVD collection and board games available to keep you entertained, but with so much to see in Waratah and Cradle Mountain so close by we doubt you will get bored.
LAUNDRY - The laundry is equipped with a washer and dryer (please supply your own washing powder) - there is also an external clothes line and a clothes airer for your use. There is also an iron and ironing board if needed.
PHONE RECEPTION - In Waratah phone reception is great, you will lose signal on your way to Burnie or Cradle Mountain though.
WIFI - Sorry, we don't have wifi at The Wombat Burrow and use our mobile phones to hotspot if needed. There is however FREE WIFI located in the centre of town if you need it.
BATHROOM - Guests are provided with towels etc for their stay and basic supplies are also found in the bathroom (Bodywash, Shampoo, Conditioner). A hair dryer is also available for your convenience.
KITCHEN - We supply Tea, Coffee and Sugar for our guests. The kitchen is equipped with Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, Full Sized Fridge, Stove/Oven, Plates, Bowls, Cups, Glasses, Cutlery etc.
Other food supplies can be purchased locally at The Roadhouse or in Burnie from larger supermarkets.

Other things to note
Waratah is a very small town with limited facilities.
The Bischoff Hotel (Pub) does great inexpensive dinners,
The Mushroom Cafe has awesome coffee and lunches
and The Roadhouse sells fuel, take-away food and a good selection of basic grocery items (usually open from 7am - 5pm).
The closest large supermarket / shopping centre is located in Burnie - 45 minute drive.
