WHAT WE LOVE
This new owner-built timber and stone house is perched above the iconic Great Eastern Drive on a convict heritage site, with sweeping views over Great Oyster Bay, the Freycinet Peninsula, Schouten Island and Maria Island.
The cosy interior features bespoke fittings, Tasmanian timber floors and everything you need to enjoy the stunning coastal location of Rocky Hills. 10 minutes south of Swansea, 50mins north to Freycinet Peninsula or 30mins south to Triabunna and Maria Island National Park Ferry.
Rocky Ridge is warm and cosy with two bedrooms, one master bedroom with en-suite and one smaller second bedroom ideal for 1 or two adults or two or three kids, two bathrooms (ensuite and main bathroom with shower over bath) and lovely sun-drenched open plan kitchen, dining and lounge.
Huge glass windows capture all day sun and stunning water, mountain and valley views. Be sure to keep an eye out for the local wildlife - eagles, dolphins, seals, wallabies and wombats abound!
Sliding doors from the Master bedroom and living areas lead outside to the Spotted Gum timber deck, a perfect spot for your morning coffee or a late afternoon BBQ or glass of wine while listening to the sound of the waves below
