Description

Located between the mountains in the north and the dazzling coastline of the French Riviera in the south, Maison Magnolia is a charming former farmhouse that has been lovingly restored to create a comfortable modern villa.

Embodying a delightful fusion of traditional rustic charm and contemporary design, the villa has retained many of its original features, including its original beams and stonework, beautifully blended with a delicate modern style. There is elegant and tasteful decor throughout the home, especially in the beautiful living area complete with a large L-shaped sofa facing a long bench of comfortable seating and the large TV among a variety of more traditional furniture. The spacious kitchen extends from the dining area in a delightful open plan design, separated only by the large breakfast bar, perfect for casual mornings.

Each of the bedrooms is as charming and comfortable as the social areas including a sixth and final en-suite bedroom in the annexe, ensuring a little peace and privacy to those who seek it.

The garden is a vibrant fusion of charming original sculptures and stone walls, quaint paths and flower-lined walkways, all sprinkled with a pleasant array of olive trees, pine trees and magnolias. And finally, there is the beautiful private pool area, complete with several sun loungers, chairs and benches for your enjoyment. There is an alfresco dining area in the shade of the veranda and the pool terrace area benefits from the shade of a thriving magnolia tree.

Just 6km from the Grande Bastide golf course, and down the hill to the charming Provencal village of Le Rouret (1.3km) and just a short drive from Grasse, the capital of perfumery itself, Maison Magnolia could not be better placed to make the most of the region.

The whole French Riviera, with its luscious sandy beaches, dramatic rugged cliffs and glamourous coastal towns is just twenty minutes away, and the sparkling crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea await you.

The exquisite fusion of Provencal villages, a vibrant coastline sprinkled with glamorous resorts and a totally unique interior landscape make this the ideal holiday spot.

#### Location
Maison Magnolia is ideally situated for those who like to explore cultural hubs and natural landscapes.

The nearby historic village of Le Rouret (1.3km) is a short drive or walk downhill where you will find a handful of local restaurants and shops. In the surrounding countryside they grow jasmine, roses, orange trees and violets all used in Grasse's perfumeries. Just a little further be sure to visit the charming village of Opio (5km) and beautiful Valbonne (10km).

The charming town of Grasse (10km) is just twenty minutes away, nestled in the hills just to the east of the villa. Known for its perfume heritage and vivid fields of lavender, it sits within the stunning backdrop of cascading hills and vast vineyards, olive groves and winding rivers. Be sure to visit on market day to pick up some wonderful produce.

The stylish and chic city of Cannes (20km) is around forty minutes away, oozing splendour from La Croisette, the glamour-drenched promenade, many beaches and yet more vibrant nightclubs, of course famous for its international film festival which runs each year in May. Not forgetting beautiful Nice (52km), especially the maze of narrow streets in the old town.

You can also reach the cultural hub of Mandelieu La Napoule (30km) in fifteen minutes, an utterly beautiful place with a rugged and rocky coastline that drops dramatically into the sea.

Our most active guests will adore the range of activities on offer nearby, especially suitable for kids along the coast near Antibes (26km). From water-sports to waterparks, hikes to bikes as well as wonderful horse-riding along the coast or in the rugged interior.

Those who enjoy a day of golf are utterly spoilt for choice in this region, with the Royal Mougins (16km) only 30 minutes away or the Grande Bastide golf course (5km) much nearer.
